This amazing Course runs 3 x consecutive weeks from your start date. Make up classes are available if need! Suitable for all skill levels from beginners to advanced.

Hands on, interactive patisserie course, designed for those with a passion for sweet cooking but are perhaps lacking the necessary skills or confidence to absolutely shine.

This class does not accommodate any dietary requirements sorry!  Gluten and dairy are a patisserie staple!

Perfect for entertaining at home, the ultimate dessert or High Tea, birthday or special event.

Decadent, sweet cooking can be fun, creative, fulfilling and rewarding. We will prepare show stopping desserts and sweets based on the fundamentals of essential cookery techniques and you will learn how to simplify and adapt these skills at home. The focus is on enjoying the experience, gaining confidence, and learning essential cooking and presentation techniques. Discover the art of:

  • Cake, sponges
  • Variety of Pastry work, both sweet and savory
  • Chocolate work with bon bons, truffles, moulds and fillings
  • Stencil paste, mousse, curds, Italian meringue
  • Presentation skills. Garnishes, decorations and piping
  • Sugar work

You are welcome to book with friends or family. Please note the price cannot be discounted due to non-attendance, so should a lesson be missed for any reason, you may make it up another time provided we are advised. Classes are limited to 12 people to ensure participants get the most out of the course. Places are limited…book soon to avoid disappointment! We will endeavour to cover all content as listed above, but you will also be expected to practise a few dishes on your own at home should circumstances arise. YouTube videos may also be provided to cover some content we don’t get to do hands on!

Booking with Children – please note we accept Youths from 9yrs to 17yrs.  However, for Children 9yrs – 14yrs each child must have an adult booked in with them.

What to Expect in the Class

Your class begins with a heart-warming welcome, introduction and chat with your fellow budding chefs. Then pop on your apron, get into the kitchen and start cooking. You will work in small groups of two on a table of four as your Chef guides you step by step. Each week you will progress in our course. Some items will need to be carried over to the next week due to the technical components of the dishes.

A typical course menu includes:

Week 1: Pastry
Week 2: Cake, decorating
Week 3: Chocolates

NO REFUNDS ON BOOKINGS – but Make Up classes are available, prior notice must be given by 9am on the Monday of the class date.  One Make Up class is offered, this cannot be rebooked.

Please note: The menu is based on available seasonal produce and is subject to change at the experience provider’s discretion. You will work and cook together as a team, and shared a workspace and the kitchen equipment with other participants. A group cooking session with partial group participation is the most effective and fun way to add to your cooking skills.
